Simon & Schuster has announced a new release from Judith McNaught. We will soon see a new book based on the short story, Double Exposure!
The Sweetest Thing is Corey Foster’s story, but not as we know it, because Judith is not only expanding it, but ‘radically rewriting’ it as well. With a length of 224 pages, promises to contain lots of delicious new material!
What do you think? I, for one, am keeled over like Aunt Pittypat, fanning my face and calling for my smelling salts while declaring I think I shall faint…
I always thought 74 pages was way too short for the deliciousness of this story (Remember when Spencer backs Corey into that closet? Ah, so hot…), so I am positively dancing around my house at the thought of 224 glorious pages!! It makes me want to re-read the short-story, like, NOW… (Hope you all bought it when it was available for Kindle, because Amazon has already removed it from the online store….)
DISCLAIMER: Rampant speculation…… OMG, do you think any of the characters from the Westmoreland trilogy (previously mentioned by Judith) will appear in the new book as wedding guests? The modern-day Clayton, perhaps? I mean, his ancestor did have a duchess suite named after her in Spencer’s Newport mansion, did she not? (No, really…it said so in the original short story.) So…I mean…it’s possible, right? *THUD* (Was me, fainting from the excitement.)
According to Amazon.com, the book is slated for release October 23, 2018.
Pre-order from Amazon.com.
